Yoga Studios

Workshops for yoga studios focus on two things. Understanding the biomechanical principles that underlie yoga’s positions. How these can cause pain, and what the goals of the positions are. And secondly, what we bring into yoga when we walk in through the door. Our normal posture carries imbalances and preferences that can greatly hinder our progress in yoga, and cause injury. The workshops are tailored to the specific abilities and needs of the group and are essential for a long, healthy practise in yoga.

Gyms & Sports Teams

Workshops for gyms & Sports teams focus on the building blocks that underlie all movement. Standing, walking, running, jumping, lifting, climbing, striking, throwing. These determine how well what we do scales up. If our basics are lacking in any way they will come show up as injuries and performance plateaus. We’ll also investigate our normal patterns, what we brought into the sport when we started. This often invisible factor is what separates the average Joe from a pro-athlete. Change your normal, and you can reach the performance of a pro.

Office/Corporate events

Workshops for Office & Corporate events focus on how our unique postural patterns can negatively affect our bodies as we work. This can show up as back pain, RSI, carpal tunnel etc. These problems can make our days more tiring, and painful and draw attention away from our work. Understanding how these aches and pains arise and what we can do about them can be extremely helpful for workplace productivity, but most importantly our happiness and wellbeing at work.
